Prime Healthcare, BCBS of Alabama reach network agreement at hospital

Prime Healthcare Services and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama reached a network agreement regarding Gadsden, Ala.-based Riverview Regional Medical Center Monday, reports The Gadsden Times.

Under terms of the agreement, BCBS of Alabama policyholders can continue to receive medical treatment at Riverview Regional Medical Center at reduced, in-network prices.

“We are grateful to Prime Healthcare and BCBS of Alabama for negotiating in good faith for fair and reasonable market rates,” Riverview Regional Medical Center CEO David Fuller said in a prepared statement.
