The news comes after BCBS removed OMH and a number of other state hospitals from its low-priced network Blue Value in January. Blue Value is a limited network product designed to offer consumers a low-cost coverage option on and off the public exchanges.

The in-network agreement between BCBS of North Carolina and OMH expires Dec. 31, 2017, BCBS NC spokesperson Lew Borman told Jacksonville Daily News.
