In Santa Cruz, Humana drops more than 2,000 Medicare members

Health insurer Humana will drop its Medicare Advantage plan in California’s Santa Cruz County for 2017, Santa Cruz Sentinel Business reports.

About 2,063 beneficiaries will be affected by the elimination of the Humana Gold Plus plan. 

Another Medicare Advantage plan is not available in the county. Only Medigap plans and standalone Medicare prescription drug plans will be offered, according to the report.
