Humana seeks to hire 170 in Arizona

Health insurance giant Humana is planning on adding over 170 new jobs in Phoenix, according to AZ Business Magazine.

The telesales specialist positions will be part of Humana’s direct marketing services telesales workforce. The new employees will provide enrollment assistance and national phone sales for Humana’s Medicare and senior products, according to the report. The workers will be brought on to assist Humana during the Medicare open enrollment period, which runs from October through December.

Approximately 45 of the jobs will be full-time, while 130 will be seasonal for up to six months.

Humana currently employs 2,500 in the state of Arizona.
