Humana is broadening its Medicare Advantage network by tapping Leesburg, Va.-based Loudoun Medical Group, a physician-owned group of practices across the state.
As of Dec. 1, the agreement provides members access to 330 providers, 35 specialties and 150 locations between Virginia and Maryland, according to the Nov. 30 news release.
The move applies to Humana's Medicare Advantage HMO, PPO and PFFS members.
"We're excited to add Loudoun Medical Group's quality physicians, clinicians and facilities to our Humana Medicare Advantage network," said Mike Bowersox, Humana's Mid-Atlantic Medicare president. "We're looking forward to working together to advance our mission to improve the health and well-being of the Medicare members we serve."
