Health insurer stock report: Week of Aug. 28-Sept. 1

All five major commercial payers saw their stock prices rise last week.

Minnetonka, Minn.-based UnitedHealth Group saw its share price increase the most at 2.8 percent.

Here is how the five health insurers fared, as of Sept. 1. 

  • Aetna (Hartford, Conn.): $158.19 per share (up 1.3 percent)
  • Anthem (Indianapolis): $197.43 per share (up 2.5 percent)
  • Cigna (Bloomfield, Conn.): $183.17 per share (up 2.2 percent)
  • Humana (Louisville, Ky.): $258.75 per share (up 2.3 percent)
  • UnitedHealth Group (Minnetonka, Minn.): $199.75 per share (up 2.8 percent)
