Chicago-based Health Care Service Corporation and Detroit-based Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan are using Hortonworks Data Platform to update their data systems and enhance analytics usage.
HCSC and BCBS of Michigan will leverage the data to reduce costs, improve consumer experience and manage risk. HDP is powered by open source community Apache Hadoop.
