Former Iora execs raise $13M to support Medicare concierge service

Connie Health, the collective effort of three former Iora Health executives, raised $13 million in series A funding to support its Medicare navigation platform as it expands into Texas, its second state market.

The move expands the company out of its starting state of Arizona, where it will grow its data-driven Medicare concierge service, according to the announcement. Expansion to Illinois in 2021 is still on the horizon.

The company's services include using artificial intelligence to find optimal plans and connecting seniors with Medicare advisers.

Connie Health was formed by Oded Eran, David Luna and Michael Scopa — all formerly of Iora Health, which is set to be bought out by OneMedical later this year.
