Health insurer Cigna will add 70 customer service jobs at its Moosic, Pa., office in anticipation of an increased demand for healthcare services, The Times-Tribune reports.
The positions will be added to the roughly 600 customer service employees at the office. Roles include customer advocacy, claims processing and customer satisfaction. Based on experience and education, new hires could earn around $31,500.
Cigna spokesperson Gloria Barone Rosanio told The Times-Tribune the increased demand is in part a result of Affordable Care Act marketplaces and the insurer's push to help consumers navigate the health care system.
Cigna is projected to take on 1.6 million additional members nationwide this year, according to the report.
