Cigna opens Middle East headquarters

Cigna established its headquarters for Middle East and North Africa operations in the Dubai World Trade Center.

"The new office is a symbol of Cigna's commitment to the Middle East as the company prepares to hire and develop more local talent, enhance its local and regional presence, and create long-term value for its partners and customers," according to the company.

The 20,000-square-foot DWTC headquarters will house 200-plus Cigna employees with the insurer's health and individual private medical insurance business.

Art Cozad, CEO of Cigna Insurance Middle East, said, "The region's insurance market is ripe for expansion and remains central to our global growth strategy. This presents a significant opportunity to enhance our local and regional presence for the next phase of our growth."
