Cigna penned a multiyear contract with Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, building on their continued relationship and expanding it.
According to the Sept. 2 announcement, the new contract extends the companies' relationship through 2025. The agreement keeps Tenet's hospitals, facilities and ambulatory services through United Surgical Partners International in-network for Cigna members.

"Together, we will continue to enhance the healthcare experience for patients while improving the health, well-being and peace of mind of the communities we serve."
