Cigna hires global chief data and analytics officer

Cigna appointed Gina Papush to its newly created global chief data and analytics officer position Sept. 4.

In the role, Ms. Papush will lead Cigna’s data and analytics team. She brings more than 22 years of experience in analytics strategy development and data science to Cigna.

Ms. Papush joins the health insurer from QBE Insurance Group, where she served as global chief data and analytics officer. Prior to that, she held senior leadership roles at Citigroup, Fulcrum Analytics and GE Capital.
