CHI Franciscan, Humana team up for value-based payment model

Tacoma, Wash.-based CHI Franciscan Health and Humana collaborated on a value-based care payment model for the payer’s Medicare Advantage members in Washington state.

Under the agreement, Humana’s Medicare Advantage beneficiaries will receive in-network access to CHI Franciscan Health facilities and providers. The collaboration aims to improve specific health metrics in Washington.

CHI Franciscan Health’s physicians will also gain access to new tools and data to support the value-based care model.
