The center will offer yoga, nutrition classes and assistance connecting community members to healthcare providers. It will be available to anyone, regardless of insurance carrier, according to the report.
BCBS of Illinois expects the offices and community center to open early next year and to create 550 new jobs, according to the report. The insurer currently operates a similar center in Chicago’s Pullman neighborhood.
