Richardson-based health insurer Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas will offer more Medicare Advantage health plan options for 2017.
BCBSTX will expand its Medicare Advantage health maintenance organization and preferred provider organization plans to the Houston, El Paso and South Texas areas.
Three Medicare Advantage plans — Blue Cross Medicare Advantage HMO, Blue Cross Medicare Advantage PPO and Blue Cross MedicareRx prescription drug plans — will be available for enrollment through Dec. 7. All plans are effective Jan. 1.
