Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts will roll out a platform to connect self-insured accounts with 1,000-plus employees to appropriate digital health tools July 1.
Here are three notes on the service.
1. The platform, called Emerging Solutions, will connect eligible BCBSM employer customers with digital solutions that may help improve their employees' health.
2. Emerging Solutions' portfolio of solutions will expand over time, however, its initial offerings will comprise digital health tools focused on diabetes and maternity.
3. BCBSM Chief Marketing Officer Kathy Klingler said, "Through the Emerging Solutions platform, we serve as a trusted advisor to our employer customers, working closely with them to identify the health solutions that can best address the specific needs of their employees."
