Here are four things to know about the facility.
1. The insurer opened the office after operating for almost 60 years at its location in Cincinnati’s East Walnut Hills neighborhood. Anthem officials decided the East Walnut Hills location needed upgrades and greater technological capabilities.
2. The payer and Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley collaborated to keep the insurer within the city, as well as retain 400 jobs.
3. The new office is located in Cincinnati’s Oakley neighborhood.
4. Anthem’s three-story office has two wings connected by a glass atrium. It houses a fitness center and food services.
