The move extends a January 2020 agreement that originally provided in-network coverage through September 2022.

The move affects the 12 percent of Memorial Health System’s patient base that is covered by Anthem for both primary and specialty care.

“We are pleased this extended contract will give Memorial Health System patients stability and access to our integrated network,” Scott Cantley, president and CEO of Memorial Health System, told the News & Sentinel. “As this community’s health system, we want to ensure the greatest access, experience and highest-quality care for everyone.”
