The hospital notified Anthem earlier this month that it plans to terminate its contract with the insurer unless new terms are reached before Sept. 30, according to Anthem public relations director Scott Larrivee.
The network change would affect about 7,500 patients in the region who have used Ministry services during the past year.
Ministry officials said they are optimistic an acceptable agreement will be reached with Anthem before the contract expires.
