Ms. Nierengarten is no stranger to the health plan, as she helped launch it as director before moving to Aetna as senior director of joint ventures, according to an Aug. 25 announcement shared with Becker’s.

In her new role, Ms. Nierengarten will further marry Aetna and Allina Health’s collaborations and develop services to enhance customer experiences.
Prior to the move, Ms. Nierengarten was senior director of transformation for HealthHUBs at Aetna. She also served at Prime Therapeutics and Humana, according to the release.
