Aetna adds 2 national account executives in Dallas

Hartford, Conn.-based Aetna’s Dallas office hired Matt Horn as sales vice president for national accounts and Kibuchi Banfield as sales executive for national accounts, D CEO Healthcare reports.

Here’s four things to know about the appointments.

Mr. Horn

1. Mr. Horn will replace Mario Di Blasi as leader of Aetna’s Texas and Oklahoma business efforts.

2. Prior to Aetna, he managed Houston-based Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s marketing and sales branch, the report states.

Mr. Banfield

3. As sales executive for national accounts, Mr. Banfield will work with Aetna customers in Texas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma, as well as with customers with 3,000 or more employees. Mr. Banfield will also oversee a joint health plan between Arlington-based Texas Health Resources and Aetna.

4. He held sales and strategy roles in New York City prior to his appointment.
