1. Poll: Biden's plan draws broader support than 'Medicare for All'
A poll conducted by USC Dornsife and the Los Angeles Times found former Vice President Joe Biden's public option healthcare plan has significantly more support among potential general election voters than "Medicare for All," the single-payer plan proposed by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.

2. 'Medicare for All' gains surprising supporter: Small business owners
While 85 percent of small business owners said their operations are going well or even excellent, the cost of providing employee healthcare coverage remains a significant challenge, according to a survey commissioned and released by Public Private Strategies and funded by left-leaning think tank The Commonwealth Fund.

3. Wayne HealthCare CEO: 'Medicare for All' will only make our problems worse
Increasing government involvement is not going to solve the healthcare cost problem, according to Wayne Deschambeau, president and CEO of Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, Ohio.

4. Poll finds 'Medicare for All' gaining favor among Democrats
Most Democratic primary voters (65 percent) say they are more likely to vote for a candidate who supports "Medicare for All" than who supports preserving and improving the ACA, up from 57 percent in January, according to an August poll conducted by Politico and Morning Consult.

5. Politico: Swing-state Democrats avoiding 'Medicare for All'
Swing-state Democrats running for Senate seats in 2020 are distancing themselves from "Medicare for All" in what Politico calls a "striking split" with Democratic presidential candidates.
