The rescheduling affects patients who had a nonelective procedure scheduled for Thursday and Friday this week. The hospital will still perform all urgent and same-day procedures.

Hospital officials will reevaluate the decision to suspend surgeries to determine if more surgeries will need to be postponed on additional days.
