Patient allegedly starts fire in Oklahoma City hospital ER

The Oklahoma City Fire Department said a patient at Oklahoma City-based Integris Baptist Medical Center intentionally started a fire in the hospital's emergency room Tuesday, Oklahoma's News 4 reports.

The fire department reported to the hospital just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Officials said in a series of tweets a patient allegedly set linens on fire in the cabinet of one of the patient rooms in the ER, the report states.

The fire was reportedly extinguished prior to the fire department's arrival. Hospital officials evacuated 14 ER patients as a precaution.

No injuries were reported, according to officials. Officials reportedly arrested Jeronimo Velasquez, 37, on arson charges later that same day.
