Club Blu, located in Fort Myers, was hosting an event for teenagers Monday night. The shooting occurred in the club’s parking lot shortly after 12:30 AM.
According to the Fort Meyers Police Department, 18-year-old Stef’An Strawder and 14-year-old Sean Archilles were killed.
At least 17 others were injured, Lisa Sgarlata, RN, chief administrative officer of Lee Memorial Hospital, told NBCNews. The Fort Meyers-based hospital treated 16 victims between the ages of 12 and 27, most of whom were released.
Ms. Sgarlata said four victims remained hospitalized as of late Monday morning — two in fair condition and two with life-threatening injuries.
While police have not identified a motive for the shooting, they have three suspects in custody and confirmed the shooting was not an act of terror.
