Lee Memorial Hospital treats victims of Florida nightclub shooting

A shooting outside of a Florida night club early Monday morning has left two male teenagers dead and at least 17 other victims receiving treatment at a Fort Myers hospital, according to Reuters.

Club Blu, located in Fort Myers, was hosting an event for teenagers Monday night. The shooting occurred in the club's parking lot shortly after 12:30 AM.

According to the Fort Meyers Police Department, 18-year-old Stef'An Strawder and 14-year-old Sean Archilles were killed.

At least 17 others were injured, Lisa Sgarlata, RN, chief administrative officer of Lee Memorial Hospital, told NBCNews. The Fort Meyers-based hospital treated 16 victims between the ages of 12 and 27, most of whom were released.

Ms. Sgarlata said four victims remained hospitalized as of late Monday morning — two in fair condition and two with life-threatening injuries.

While police have not identified a motive for the shooting, they have three suspects in custody and confirmed the shooting was not an act of terror.
