The hospital, which opened in 2009, announced in late February that it would begin the process of shutting down. In addition to closing its ER, the hospital has also stopped accepting ambulances.
The exact date the hospital will close is unknown, but it will shut down no later than May 1, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act notice filed March 4.
According to the WARN notice, 269 employees will be laid off when the hospital closes.
