CovenantCare at Home is part of Covenant Retirement, a nonprofit retirement housing organization with 16 locations nationwide. The retirement housing will not be affected.

The decision to close the at-home care and hospice facility is a result of the highly saturated and competitive home healthcare market, according to the report.

“[The] saturated competitive market of home-care providers in this region and the uncertainty with reimbursement rates, remaining viable as a business has become very challenging,” the company said, according to The Denver Post.
