Bus crash sends 30 people to Meritus Medical Center: 4 things to know

A Greyhound bus collided with a tractor-trailer June 15, sending 30 people to Hagerstown, Md.-based Meritus Medical Center for treatment, according to The Herald-Mail.

Here are four things to know:

1. A preliminary investigation found the Greyhound bus was carrying 46 people when it rear-ended a tractor trailer.

2. Thirty bus passengers were taken to Mertitus Medical Center for minor treatments, including facial injuries.

3. Although the driver of the greyhound bus had to be pried from his seat after the crash, he suffered only minor injuries.

4. The driver of the bus, who was not immediately identified, was the at-fault driver, police said, according to the report.
