Woman’s Hospital (Baton Rouge, La.). Established in 1968, today Woman’s Hospital is a women’s specialty hospital comprising 168 hospital beds, 84 NICU beds and 1,831 employees. In 2017, clinicians at the facility performed 43,907-plus breast procedures and 75,707 Pap tests. For patients diagnosed with gynecologic cancers, the hospital provides access to a wide range of team members, including patient navigators, nutrition counseling services and pastoral care. Women’s Choice Award named the hospital among the Best Hospitals for Obstetrics and Best Breast Centers in the nation for 2018.
