West Virginia University Hospitals (Morgantown). The J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital at West Virginia University Hospitals houses the health system’s obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive medicine services. The hospital’s maternal-fetal medicine program provides perinatal, genetics and ultrasound services to 350-plus pregnant women each year and hosts an outreach program for obstetrical consultation services at 20-plus hospitals in the region. The health system was ranked No. 18 in the nation for patient safety in women’s health by CareChex in 2018.
