University of Chicago Medicine Family Birth Center-Hyde Park will now offer 24/7 access to doula care.

The team of full-spectrum doulas is embedded in the inpatient center and works alongside UChicago staff to improve health outcomes and birth care for parents and babies, according to a March 31 news release shared with Becker’s.

Patients with qualifying insurance will have access to doula care at no additional cost. The services are provided through a partnership with Partum Health, a Chicago-based startup that provides wraparound perinatal health services.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
