Caitlin Pechin, RN, a nurse on the hospital’s mother-baby unit, crocheted sweaters for every baby on the unit to wear and take home.
“I tried to make ugly Christmas sweaters for the babies, but I actually think they turned out pretty cute,” she told KDKA-TV.
The unit held an “ugly Christmas Sweater party” Dec. 17, complete with holiday decorations, a visit from Santa and, of course, the Christmas sweaters.
