Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC offers various specialty care services for women through its centers for bladder and pelvic health, fertility and reproductive endocrinology, and diabetes and pregnancy. The hospital admits more than 1,800 babies to its 77-bed Level III neonatal intensive care unit each year and launched the Dan Berger Cord Blood Program in 2007, which offers parents the option of saving their baby’s umbilical cord blood for future healthcare needs or research. Women’s Choice Award recognized Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Obstetrics in 2017.
