King’s Daughters Medical Center (Brookhaven, Miss.). King’s Daughters Medical Center opened the first fully dedicated, single-room labor and delivery suites in Mississippi, which allow expectant mothers and their loved ones to stay in one place throughout the entire birthing process. The hospital, which provides comprehensive health services for routine reproductive healthcare, also partners with nurse practitioners and surgeons to treat more complex illnesses like uterine fibroids, endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome via minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Women’s Choice Award has recognized the 99-bed hospital as one of America’s best hospitals for obstetrics for five consecutive years, most recently in 2017.
