Healthcare providers can access a new Emmi Solutions program to inform patients and employees about the flu vaccine and to increase vaccinations, according to an Emmi Solutions release.
The program “Getting the Flu Vaccine” explains basic facts about influenza and addresses many of the common reasons that patients give for not receiving the vaccine. This brief program uses easy-to-understand language to answer questions such as “Who should get the flu vaccine?” and “Can the flu vaccine get you sick?”
The program also addresses issues such as the importance of getting the vaccine if somebody you know is pregnant, elderly, a small child or has a chronic condition.
