Annette Buckel. Vice President of Wellness at St. Joseph Health (Irvine, Calif.). Ms. Buckel is using her position as vice president of wellness to influence how St. Joseph Health delivers care. During her tenure, Ms. Buckel has overseen St. Joseph’s wellness center strategy and developed its retail wellness center; she has launched five such centers to date, which tout a combined 98.5 percent customer satisfaction rating. Retail wellness center customers reported a 29 percent reduction in inactivity, a 4.3 percent reduction in obesity and a 13.5 percent decrease in overall stress levels.
