Val Verde Regional’s patients will be able to access health education content, entertainment programming and patient engagement services from their hospital bed via the Allen E3 Patient Engagement Solution on Samsung Smart TVs. The E3 features a personalized inbox providing pop-ups and reminders for patients as well as health education and safety videos.

Additionally, the solution will be integrated with the hospital’s EHR, enabling clinicians to record patients’ comprehension of health education directly into patient records as well as patient input regarding their care. Patients will also be able to use the interactive solution to make requests to hospital staff.
