Ion Solutions is the largest physician service organization and group purchasing organization specializing in supporting community oncology, according to a company release. Under the partnership, HealthGrid will power the platform to allow Ion members who dispense and administer oral chemotherapy to connect with patients anytime via any mobile device.
Through the platform, services such as reminders, surveys, education and notifications aim to increase patient connectivity and medication adherence, according to the release.
