Three takeaways:

1. The trauma center was re-verified for its ability to treat pediatric head trauma, its availability of inpatient rehab, and its number of surgical services, including neurological, orthopedic, cardiology and thoracic care.

2. The trauma center also received the qualification because its off-site surgeons are on call and able to arrive within 15 minutes.

3. Rhonda Gunderson, RN, BSN, has served as Minot-based Trinity Health’s trauma program manager since 2018.
