The UC Board of Regents approved a UCLA Health project to convert a Los Angeles area building into an office building including a sports medicine facility and ASC, the Daily Bruin reported March 18.
The $298.2 million project will turn a building in El Segundo, Calif., into UCLA Health South Bay. The facility will house a sports medicine institute, ASC, physical therapy and the relocated UCLA Clinical Microbiology Laboratory.
UCLA bought the property in 2024, and construction is expected to begin in January 2027. The facility is expected to be complete in June 2028.
