The Christ Hospital (Cincinnati). Opened in 2016, The Christ Hospital Joint & Spine Center houses 12 operating rooms and 87 private inpatient rooms to optimize patient care and experience. The 381,000-square-foot facility achieved LEED certification for its flexible design and commitment to sustainability. Two orthopedic spine surgeons and three neurospine surgeons staff the center, which delivers 90 percent of its care nonoperatively. CareChex ranked The Christ Hospital No. 19 in the nation for spine surgery medical excellence in 2018, and Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue designated the hospital a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery.
