Oswego Health opens orthopedic center in New York

Oswego Health opened its Center for Orthopedic Care within the Fulton (N.Y.) Medical Center, reports Oswego County Today.

Four things to know:

1. Oswego Health recruited two new orthopedic surgeons to the 6,150-square-foot, $1.5 million center: Michael Diaz, DO, and Greg S. Keller, MD.

2. The center features a new $156,000 X-ray machine and over 15 exam rooms.

3. Dr. Diaz has expertise in robot-assisted partial and total knee replacements. Dr. Keller has 20 years of experience in level 1 trauma and was the director of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix prior to joining Oswego Health.

4. The two orthopedic surgeons join John Ayres, MD, at Fulton Medical Center which will cover every orthopedic procedure except for complex hand and spine surgery.
