The hospital’s labor and delivery department will officially close at the end of this year due to low volume of deliveries. Affected employees will be offered jobs within the hospital, according to the report. The change will add 38 hospital beds and 50-70 staff members to the hospital’s Orthopaedic and Neuro Spine Institute.
