Mount Sinai Health System names Dr. Michael Bronson orthopedics department chair

New York-based Mount Sinai Health System named Michael Bronson, MD, chair of orthopedics for Mount Sinai Roosevelt and Mount Sinai St. Luke’s, both located in New York.

Dr. Bronson has served as vice chair of the orthopedics department at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since 2009 as well as chief of orthopedic quality assurance at The Mount Sinai Hospital. He is the founding surgeon of the Joint Replacement Center as well as the LeFrak Center for Patient Education at the Icahn School of Medicine.

Dr. Bronson completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and Boston Children’s Hospital. He was also appointed Senior Annie C. Kane Fellow in Joint Replacement Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York.
