Michigan hospital expands spine surgery capabilities

Holland (Mich.) Hospital introduced a third surgical tool from Medtronic, rounding out its spine surgery capabilities, according to local news station WHTC.

Holland Hospital is now equipped with Medtronic’s Mazor XTM Stealth Edition Robotic Guidance Platform, da Vinci Si Surgical System and Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Technology.

It is the first medical facility to have all three surgical tools, which are designed to improve outcomes, pain management and recovery times.
