McLaren Greater Lansing (Mich.). McLaren Greater Lansing has served mid-Michigan since 1913. The first arthroscopic knee replacement surgery performed at the hospital was completed in the early ’70s. Roughly 40 years later, McLaren Greater Lansing has grown to include the McLaren Orthopedic Hospital and is ranked among the top 25 hospitals in the nation for major orthopedic surgery by CareChex for 2017, rated high performing in hip and knee replacement by U.S. News & World Report’s 2016-17 rankings and designated as a Blue Distinction Center+ for Knee and Hip Replacement.
