2. The hospital considers health status, commitment to rehabilitation and insurance coverage when identifying short-stay candidates.
3. Orthopedic surgeons from two Spencer-based groups, Orthopaedics PC and Northwest Iowa Bone, Joint & Sports Surgeons, have performed short-stay knee replacement procedures at the hospital.
