Three details:
1. New York City-based HSS Lerner Children's Pavilion took the No. 22 spot on U.S. News & World Report's 2019-20 ranking of the best hospitals for children's orthopedics.
2. The report recognizes the top 50 pediatric facilities in the U.S. based on factors including mortality rates, infection rates, clinical resource availability and compliance with best practices.
3. HSS excelled in advanced technology, quality improvement, family engagement, patient and family services, nursing intensity, nurse magnet recognition, commitment to best practices, infection prevention and prevention of surgical complications.
