Excelsior Orthopaedics’ Dr. Lisa Daye to establish women’s sports medicine program

Lisa A. Daye, MD, a partner at Amherst, N.Y.-based Excelsior Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is establishing a women’s sports medicine program at the practice, according to a report by The Buffalo News.

Dr. Daye has been in private practice at Excelsior Orthopaedics since 2000, focusing on sports medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and New York State Orthopaedic Society.

“You create this nucleus of female providers who are taking care of female athletes and if you give them access to all this information, they’re not as afraid to seek it out and learn how to stay healthy or get healthy,” she said to The Buffalo News.
