Emory University Hospital (Atlanta). Emory University Hospital, the flagship institution for Emory Healthcare, boasts comprehensive neurosurgery and spine programs with national recognition. U.S. News & World Report ranked Emory among the top 50 hospitals in the nation for adult neurology and neurosurgery in 2017-18. In 2004, Emory built the Emory Orthopaedics and Spine Center, a 95,000-square-foot ASC near the university campus that offers a full spectrum of musculoskeletal care and houses Emory’s musculoskeletal radiology division. Since then, the hospital has continued to grow its neurosurgery and spine programs; in 2016, Emory University Hospital became the first medical center in the U.S. to use a new 3DHD endoscopic imaging system for a pituitary tumor removal.
